The last stop of my first visit to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula was a show stopper. I didn’t know much about Tahquamenon Falls, but my husband kept mentioning it so I figured if he thought I needed to see it, it must be worth the trip. First things first, you should know there are two sets of waterfalls: the Lower Falls and the Upper Falls. You must go to both. Continue reading Tahquamenon Falls
Sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, and beaches are just a few of the reasons why Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore was high on my bucket list for years! When I finally laid eyes on the gorgeous shoreline, my expectations were beyond exceeded. Continue reading Picture Rocks National Lakeshore
Calling all waterfall lovers – this post is for you! In my recent trip to the Upper Peninsula, my main bucket list destination was Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. When we arrived in Munising, all the cruises had been canceled for the day due to high winds except for the very last cruise. Continue reading Fly.
One week ago marks the day my mom died. Today, July 8th, is the day she entered into this world in 1962. Those two dates are significant, but they don’t define everything she was. It was the way she spent the time in between that matters most to me and to the ones that loved her. How she died doesn’t represent at all how magical she was for 40 years, but for some crazy reason, that seems to be the only part of her life anyone is interested in. Continue reading I Will Remember You the Way You Are Right Now
